UNDATED (WKZO) -- The close of business today is the deadline to register to vote in the May 4thElection. Kelly Chesney with the Secretary of State’s office says applicants must be at least 18-years-old by election day and be U.S. Citizens. Applicants must also be residents of Michigan and of the city or township in which they wish to register.
Most Michigan School districts have school board elections on the ballot next month. A few, including Kalamazoo and Portage will be asking for bond renewals. Kalamazoo County will be seeking a renewal of their Law Enforcement millage on the May 4thBallot.
