KALAMAZOO -- Kalamazoo County Deputies are looking for a man who tried to impersonate a police officer and abduct a woman, but she was able to defend herself. Detectives say the suspect slapped a small red light on the top of his car and pulled up behind the woman at a red light, at East C Ave. and north 48th St. in Ross Township just before 9PM Tuesday night.
He got out and tried to remove her from her car, but she was able to fight him off. The suspect is a white male with a shaved head, and dark hair between his lower lip and chin. He also had dark hair on his hands, was wearing a dark colored Hoodie and jeans.
He was driving a smaller car like a Pontiac Grand Am. Anyone with information on the case can call the Sheriff’s Dept. or Silent Observer.
