MILWAUKEE (WRN) Milwaukee's mayor is holding a summit to stifle swine flu in the workplace today.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says the summit for businesses will be the first of a series the city is holding to discuss risks, prevention and treatment of swine flu.
He says companies should encourage sick workers to stay home, and employees should self-isolate if they have flu-like symptoms. If a viral outbreak occurs Barrett says workplaces need to look at their policies of preparation.
Of the more than 46-hundred swine flu cases in Wisconsin this year, Milwaukee County has had around 26-hundred of those cases.
