STURGIS -- Sturgis Police got a call around 5 p.m. Friday about a possible drunk driver on West Chicago Road.  Sturgis residents assisted police by keeping an eye on the location of the vehicle until police could arrive on the scene.

The tip turned out to be accurate and the driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, Resisting and Obstructing Police, and driving without a license.  He was lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail to wait for arraignment.
