UNDATED -- Gas prices are in Flux as we head for the busiest travel holiday of the year.  Gas prices are up a little bit in the State of Michigan, down a little bit nationally, and quite a bit higher than they were at this time last year, but it doesn’t appear to be stopping anyone from traveling.

Nancy Cain with AAA of Michigan says its all relative. They are higher than last year, but lower than the last holiday.

They expect about the same number of Michiganders to travel this year,  with a slight up-tick in national travel, the vast majority of it by car.
