MADISON (WRN) - Wisconsin’s death toll from the H1N1 swine flu has risen to 47. 4 new deaths were reported in the last week in Polk, Bayfield, Dane, and Milwaukee counties. The number of state residents hospitalized also rose to 854. But officials say rate of new cases is going down right now. 9,475 confirmed cases have been reported in Wisconsin this year. Milwaukee County has almost 1,600 of them. Officials warn that a new wave of swine flu cases may be on the way – and now is a good time to get vaccinated. After some long delays in getting vaccine, the state said this week it finally has enough to give shots to everyone who wants them.
