Whitewater, Wi. (WSAU) The 4th ranked UWSP men's basketball team dropped their matchup at Whitewater Thursday night 67-60 in overtime. The game was marked seven ties and six lead changes. The Warhawks scored the first 7 point in the OT for the win. It's the first loss of the season for the Pointers who return to action Saturday at home against Elmhurst College.

The Pointer women had no better luck with Whitewater at home losing 76-71. Point led 22-9 early but poor shooting led to a Whitewater comeback in the 2nd half. Cassie Bandow led Point with 18 points. The Pointer women play agin tonight hosting luther College at the Berg Gym.
