Peaceful and uneventful conditions continue much of the weekend ahead, though we may start to see precipitation chances begin to ramp up again sometime Sunday. National Weather Service forecasters are keeping an eye on a scenario which could emphasize could unfold late Sunday into Monday where a low pressure system tracks eastward through the Upper Great Lakes increasing thunderstorm odds. In the meantime think of Independence Day this year as the spring you never had.
