State police and deputies in Kalamazoo and surrounding counties are dealing with multiple crashes

Eastbound I-94 is closed in Van Buren County at the M-51 exit, Exit 56, for four jack-knifed semis with a car stuck underneath one of them.
Traffic is being detoured off eastbound I-94 at Exit 56.
The duration of the closure is unknown at this time.

SB 131 Traffic is slow from Plainwell to West Main.

Eastbound I-94 closed at 35th Street AND Westbound 94 is Closed and is backed up all the to Calhoun County. Troopers advising to Avoid the area. Located between mile markers 80 and 85. The estimated time of re-opening is undetermined.
