This Thursday, you have a chance to make a difference for our community. Yes, I know. You have a lot of reasons to give of your time and resources. But, this one may be the easiest: All you have to do is eat!
It's called "Dining Out for Life," and it's a worldwide event that seeks to assist local organizations around the world fight HIV/AIDS. Around here, that organization is Community AIDS Resource and Education Services - better known as "CARES" - which seeks to minimize the effects of HIV/AIDS in southwest Michigan.
As the CARES Board President, I see the great work CARES does to reach the people affected by HIV/AIDS in southwest Michigan, as well as the never-ending efforts to educate people, thus preventing the spread and impact of the disease.
Join me at Fieldstone Grill for dinner Thursday (April 29), or visit any one of 21 others agreeing to pass on a portion of their proceeds to CARES for "Dining Out for Life."
See the complete list at www.diningoutforlife.com. Thanks so much.
