Congratulations to Mattawan High School senior Anna Farrell, the 2012 recipient of "The Andy Miller Award".  Anna was selected by the coaches of the S.W. Michigan High School Ski Race League for having the most enthusiasm and dedication to her sport for the past 4 years.

This award means a great deal to my husband and me.  We started it in 1997 in memory of our son, Andy Miller who was an avid skier.

This year's league was comprised 89 skiers!  That's the most ever.  And if you can believe it, in this weird winter they got in all their races.

Congratulations to the girls of Portage Central and the boys of Caledonia who won their divisions for the season.
