This morning I talked with U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow who toured the fire devastation in The Upper Peninsula. She's trying to get FEMA aid which was initially denied.
Mary Archambeau is the director of The Luce County Community Resource & Recreation Center. She told the WKZO listeners that they are the headquarters for the fire fighters who have come from far and wide to fight the fire, the 3rd worst in Michigan history.
There are some needs that they have: travel mugs, shoe inserts, hair ties, Power Bars...and of course...MONEY.
