He'd be a fool if he doesn't drag out his "official announcement" as long as possible. I'm talking about Donald Trump who is entertaining the idea of running for president.

I was just reading up on the EQUAL-TIME RULE which specifies that U.S. radio and television stations must provide an equivalent opportunity to any candidates who request it.  The rule was created because the FCC thought stations could easily manipulate the outcome of elections.

Apparently, if you're only "tossing the idea around" you can use your prime-time network t.v. show to do it.  Last night on "The Celebrity Apprentice", he asked the contestants if he should run and if they would vote for him.

I am gagging.

I know that the plug was pulled on Sarah Palin's popular "Sarah Palin's Alaska" to avoid the appearance of impropriety in case she runs for president.  Somebody should put the smack-down on THE DONALD.  He's crossed a line; maybe not officially..but when the rule was written, "reality shows" didn't exist.  Time for a revision!
