It wasn't hyperbole when Ryan Seacrest said there would be a "shocking" departure on "American Idol" last night.  With some very mediocre singers continuing on, PIA was thrown off last night.  It was predicted by many that she would be in the finals.

Wow.  I'll bet the judges are bummed that they wasted their "save" early on.

Pia's departure was only half as shocking as the performance of Iggy Pop.  At what age should a rocker stop doffing his shirt?  I thought JLo was going to hurl when he was gyrating in her face.
