On most evenings, I flip and flip and flip through the channels and find nothing more interesting to watch than "THE BEST BRA EVER". Last night was the exception. Since hubby nodded off before the start of basketball @ 9:00 ("The middle of the night!"), I wrested away the remote and went on a surfin' safari.
First on my list was "The Kennedy's" starring Katie Holmes which was unceremoniously dumped by "The History Channel" for ticking off the family. It was adopted by REELZ (huh?) and I am so happy to report that it is my favorite genre--so bad it's good! 7 more nights. YAY!
The downside of being sucked into that was that I missed Kirstie Alley wiping out on "Dancing with the Stars". Our plucky heroine bounced back up and finished to rousing applause.
I was kind of looking forward to "RELAPSED", but it was too depressing. I wasn't in the mood since the reason I was such a couch potato in the first place is that THIS WEATHER IS GETTING ON MY NERVES!
Maybe, I thought, Pt. 3 of "Mildred Pierce" will do the trick. Not bloody likely! Kate Winslet just isn't doing it for me in this role which won Joan Crawford an Oscar. Dullsville. There is something seriously missing here.
But the sun is trying to come out, and maybe I can rejoin society today.
