So I was calm, cool and collected at my own daughter's graduation a few days ago, but was blubbering last night at the Kalamazoo Central graduation.  Delayed reaction? Or just overwhelmed by the spectacle?

It was very surreal to be at University Arena last night with the President of the United States in Kalamazoo, talking about Kalamazoo and inspiring the graduates.

Congratulations to everyone who was responsible for winning the Race to the Top Commencement Challenge and to Western Michigan University's president and staff for putting on an event that will be remembered for years to come.
