It may have fallen from the national headlines, but the earthquake in Haiti is still top of mind for many Kalamazoo area people who continue to help.

This morning we heard from Kathleen Tosco, governor of Rotary District 6360 and the water filtration efforts of Rotarians worldwide.  We were serenaded by folksinger, Joel Mabus who is headlining a benefit concert for International Child Care, a Christian charity that has been running a Grace Children's Hospital in Haiti since 1976.  Joel told us that the hospital is cracked in half, but still operating.

The concert will be at KVCC Lake Auditorium Saturday night @ 7:30.  Suggested donation $20.  Tickets available at the door.
