I dreamed that my family was having a party at a church and there was a demon trying to get in to get this book that was inside this secret room. I get the book and run outside to keep it safe, meanwhile the demon is killing all my family while trying to get to me. I hide and he finds me and tells me I can't hide from him or the end of the world, and then walks off.   - Carla 21, West Valley, UT

Lauri: The church suggests this dream is either about a moral issue or an issue where you need to have faith that all will be okay. The demon represents something in your life that you feel is a negative force, such as a bad situation or a temptation you are fighting. The book represents knowledge or information, something that you have been keeping to yourself but that you may now be feeling you should come out in the open about, which is why you took the book outside in the dream. The demon is killing your family because this information, once known could "kill them" emotionally, so to speak OR it could change things, essentially killing off the way things used to be in your life... or at least the way your family used to be.  The way the demon walks off at the end of the dream makes me think there is something going on that YOU need to walk away from and let it be.

Carla replies:  My grandmother has stage 4 breast cancer and is on hospice. I came out to my family as being bisexual, except my grandmother doesn’t know. I want to tell her but my family told me not to because it may upset her.  Thank you. This helps.
