Here is the quote from yesterday's speech from Jimmy Hoffa from his speech in Detroit:

"We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They've got a war, they got a war with us and there's only going to be one winner. It's going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We're going to win that war," Jimmy Hoffa said to a heavily union crowd.

"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong, " Hoffa added.

I am sure this quote doesn't hit the tone that the President had been looking for lately. Look this was a partisan pro-union crowd, is anyone really shocked by this quote?

Now some are asking for an apology from the President, can't see that happening. First of all, he wasn't there at the time of the speech, and second why would he? This is rhetoric, plain and simple.

BUT if suddenly someone that has heard this Labor Day rhetoric decides that Mr. Hoffa is right, and they do need to take some TEA party members out. Then what?

I am hoping that this firebrand rhetoric from both sides ends soon. When ( and I believe it will) it does maybe we can get back to the basics of American life working hard, living life and family, and enjoying the freedoms endowed by our creator.
