A community meeting set for tonight at 6:30 at the Marshall Activity Center to discuss the progress of a cleanup related to an oil spill in the Kalamazoo River. The meeting hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
As of today roughly 700 people continue to work on cleanup-related efforts. Mainly working on cleaning the submerged oil is the largest remaining cleanup challenge from the Enbridge Inc. pipeline that spilled more than 800,000 gallons of oil.
I would imagine that the EPA will say the cleanup continues, but is it still not complete. What do you think the EPA will say tonight? Leave comments below.
