Zipping through the channels this evening...trying to find something worthwhile on...stopped on a CNN report about the mosque in Tennessee that has ruffled so many Christian feathers...yes...you read it right...CHRISTIAN feathers...let me explain myself...a woman who made it a point to let the interviewer know that her family had DEEP roots in the Murfeesborough area...stated that she couldn't understand why a place of worship was being built in her community, where those attending are related to those America is fighting in Afghanistan...if it's one thing that annoys me, it's hypocritical talk...oh...hypocritical you say...let me give some examples...

- The Ku Klux Klan...an organization that is the closest to a homegrown terrorist group there has ever been in America...based a LOT of its rituals and events around the Cross...a CHRISTIAN symbol...and if I'm not mistaken...most if not all of its members were God-fearing members of whatever church they attended...

- Four young black women were cut down in a church explosion in 1963 by racists who were Christians as well...

- Going way back...the Crusades were an example of how killing one's enemy because of religion was not only right...it was HOLY...forgetting all about that Commandmant about "thou shalt not kill"...

Look...I'm not saying that any religion on earth is a perfect one...but for crying out loud...please don't insult my intelligence by playing the "Christians are so much better than others" card...because it's not true...try remembering that part of the Bible that's easy to remember...
