KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) – Today Western Michigan football announced the signing of 27 new student-athletes to the university. Out of the 27 new football players, 7 have already been enrolled at WMU.

The Broncos biggest area of need heading into the off-season was wide receiver. 6 new wide receivers were signed helping to offset the loss of 3 seniors, including All-American Jordan White.WMU also added 2 quarterbacks, 3 offensive linemen, 5 defensive linemen, 2 linebackers, 5 secondary members and a punter.

Out of the 27 new recruits, 12 are from the state of Florida, 4 from California, and only 2 from the state of Michigan.

After today’s press conference announcing the signings, WMU head coach Bill Cubit spoke up wkzo.com about the new recruiting class.
