KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) – For the third time in 2011, Western Michigan wide receiver Jordan White has been named MAC West Offensive Player Of The Week.
White had 12 receptions for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Broncos defeated Bowling Green 45-21 to improve to 4-2 and 2-0 in the MAC.
Against Bowling Green, White recorded his fourth consecutive 100-yard receiving game, tying the Bronco record set by Jamarko Simmons at the end of the 2006 and into the first three games of the 2007 season.
White also became only the fourth WMU receiver to post 3,000 yards in a career, now with 3,100.
On the season, White now has 67 receptions, 824 yards and 7 touchdowns. He leads the nation in receptions and receiving yards and tied for second in touchdowns. White has also caught 12 or more passes in 5 of 6 games.
