KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) -- The #12 Western Michigan Broncos upset the 2nd ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish 3-2 in a shootout Tuesday Night at Lawson Arena. Chase Balisy scored the game winning goal during the shootout. The win over the Irish, snapped a 4 game losing streak for the Broncos. After the game, Broncos Head Coach Andy Murray spoke to the media about the win.
