LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Recall attempts against Governor Rick Snyder, Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekof and state Senator Wayne Schmidt aren’t going anywhere.
The State Board of Canvassers has rejected to petition language to recall the three for not being clearly stated or factually stated. The petitions were filed by William Bailey and Frank Boersma over their votes to increase fuel taxes and vehicle registration fees in order to pay for road repairs.
The recall of Governor Snyder came from Detroit pastor Angelo Brown as a result of the Flint water crisis.
