KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Western Michigan boasts the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week as Andrew Haldeman earns the award for the second time in his career.

Haldeman continued his consistent play in 2013 with his seventh made field goal in eight attempts, making good on a 36-yard try in WMU's 31-30 win at UMass.  Haldeman has made 87.5 percent of his FGs this season, including 3-of-4 from between 30-39 yards.

The sophomore remained perfect on his PATs, making good on all four attempts against the Minutemen as well.  He has made good on all 15 attempts this year and has a current streak of 42 straight PATs made.

Since taking over kick off duties, Haldeman has proven to be an asset and continued that against UMass with six kickoffs for an average of 46.5 yards per kick.  He leads the team with 36 points this season and now has 108 for his career.

The Ferndale, Mich., (Wayland Union) native earned MAC West POTW in week two of 2012 after registering seven PATs and his first career field goal against Eastern Illinois.
