  • The system worked?

How can the Homeland Security Chief go on CNN and say that the system worked on Sunday, then say she was taken out of context on Monday?

Also have to commend CNN on its coverage of this terrorist attack. They were the only 24 news channel to have any in-depth coverage of the attack, or as President Obama calls it "alleged" terrorist attack. Must not have seen the terrorist underware pictures while on vacation.

  • The Real Crime

According to Senator Barbara Boxer the real crime with the recent emails from University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit which seem to shed new light on global warming is.... the alleged thefts of these emails.

According to “The Hill.com- "You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting. "Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I'm looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."

I guess the good news here is that she is at least looking at the emails. As the the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee it seems to be the least she can do.

Also according to “The Hill.com- "We may well have a hearing on this, we may not. We may have a briefing for senators, we may not," Boxer said. "Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated. "This is a crime," Boxer said.

I just wonder what part of this issue is the crime Senator Boxer? Is it the alleged hacked emails? Does anyone else wonder if it could just be a whistle blower? Or is the REAL crime that data was destroyed to strengthen a case for global warming?

  • President Obama vs Charlie Brown

    President Obama and Charlie Brown

Tonight is the BIG night, or at least it was suppose to be. This was to be the night that ABC was to air “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. Instead it will be President Obama in prime time with the new plan for Afghanistan. Judging from other speeches from the President this will be long on ideals, short on specifics. Maybe I will be wrong, but....

If you want to watch speech it will be aired at 8pm tonight from the video player at WKZO.COM. If you rather watch Charlie Brown Christmas, get the DVD, or wait for ABC to reschedule. Just as a compromise I wonder instead of “Hail to the Chief” if they could use “Linus and Lucy” for the President's entrance?

  • Is this a motive for Major Hasan?

    Posted by Jay Morris

Sources tells CBS News that investigators are continuing to look for any possible ties between the alleged Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Malik  Hasan, and terrorist groups including the Muslim Brotherhood, an affiliate of Hamas.

The Muslim Brotherhood operates behind the scenes in the United States and seeks to subtly place individuals into influential positions in the academic, legal or medical professions to further their cause of undermining the United States.

Investigators are also looking at whether Hasan was supporting Islamic charities overseas--charities which may have been funneling money to terrorist organizations.

While officials continue to probe Hasan's possible ties to terrorists, at this point they still believe strongly that he acted alone.

  • Health Care Video

Here is one of the 20 finalists in the health care video contest run by President Barack Obama's campaign arm.

According to the Organizing for American Web site, the 20 finalists in the “Health Reform Video Challenge” were chosen by a panel of “qualified” Democratic National Committee “employee judges.”

One of the contestants whose video didn’t make the final cut thinks that a video “defacing the flag” won’t do much to help President Barack Obama or the Democrats sell health care reform. I would have to agree.
