KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A former employee of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is suing the DHHS a second time.
Calvin Gage says in his new lawsuit that DHHS backed out of a deal to contract with him to provide training due to his first lawsuit that challenged his firing.
The Portage man worked for DHHS until being fired in May 2022 and says that was wrongfully done after he reported suspected patient abuse and medical malpractice to his supervisors.
A status conference on the second lawsuit is set for April 3rd.
