SOMMERSET TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 68-year-old man was booked at the Hillsdale County Jail Wednesday after he was accused of shooting a firearm at his neighbor’s cat.
While they were on general patrol, Michigan State Police troopers were sent to a residence in Somerset Township on a call of a subject firing a rifle in his yard.
What prompted the man’s anger towards the feline is not known.
The suspect was arrested and lodged on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
